The Cognacs of the House of Chabasse

Cognac Chabasse V.S.O.P.

A balanced blend of the Limousin oak of the barrels and of a mature Cognac. The power of the fruity aromas of the grapes from the Fins Bois sustains the floral touches from the Champagnes.

Long on the palate with nicely persistent aromas.

Cognac Chabasse Napoléon

The prolonged aging of this Cognac brings out the vanilla of the Limousin oak. The fruitiness has expanded; allowing aromas of cooked fruits, plums and pears, and a discrete touch of port wine.

Cognac Chabasse X.O.

The growth of the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois provide a perfect harmony. Their specific power and finesse are delicately balanced, the woodiness has softened, and the body has become rounder after the fine, elegant initial taste.

The characteristics of vintage port melt into somewhat rounder aromas of dry fruit, such as hazelnut and walnut, following the floral touches of iris and hyacinth which add freshness to this harmonious blend.

The Cognac has taken on a darker color, with russet reflections specific to Cognacs that have benefited from the long oxidation in the barrel.

Cognac Chabasse X.O. Impérial

The Cognac is at its absolute best. After aging for half a century, its bouquet is impressive, with a tendency towards aromas of 'cigar box', dried leaves, old roses, tobacco and touches of hazelnut and walnut. Smooth aromas of pear and coconut appear.

Its mellowness is beyond compare. Its extraordinary length on the palate leaves ample time to discover surprising spicy savors of cinnamon, saffron and ginger.
