Mr. Charpentier’s way up as a manufacturer of quality Cognacs and wines is not ordinary. He wants to emphasize that he has built his company alone, without the money of his father or his family.

The idea of a Cognac of his own came up soon after the first wines. And of course not an ordinary Cognac would do, but one according to the style of Mr. Charpentier : The Rolls Royce of Cognac, the elegant XO in which only the finest champagnes and old eau de vin is used.

The result is not bad : In addition to wines and champagnes, Mr. Charpentier has won numerous awards and diplomas for the quality and packages of his Cognacs, form The International Wines and Spirit Competition.

The most important marketing area is still Asia, but today the activities have been expanded to Europe, too.

Mr. Charpentier talks much about his company philosophy, which is based on reliability and genuineness. But he speaks also as much about love and friendship, generosity, courage and sensitivity.

He likes slogans such as :

Simplicity is important ; I am a simple man.
